Steve\'s CD InvestmentThe author, Stephen Kriso, is an avid performing arts proponent and especially when it comes to music. He has been involved in music since their early 80s, both as a listener and music student. Kriso graduated Fairfield University with a minor in Popular Music Performance along with his major in Psychology which plays a large part in music. Outside of college studies, he also was involved with the Fairfield University Glee Club which has traveled across the world including England, Italy, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary and Walt Disney World.

Over the years, Kriso has studied with many different music instructors in three areas, piano, guitar and bass. All the instructors have left their mark on the thinking that he has with regards to the industry. Some of those instructors include Marty DiBenadetto, Chip Deggard, Paul Mariconda, Steve Clarke, George Naha, Brian Q. Torff, and Don Manzo. Thanks also go out to Carol Ann Maxwell, director of the Fairfield Univeristy Glee Club. There have also been numerous other influences which have been benefactors to his musical interests. There have been parents, friends, and acquaintances which have been the inspirations to continue the lifelong learning of music and the music industry.

Kriso also has experience in the production side of music. He learned the art of sound production in high school and continued in college working as a sound technician. Being a sound technician exposed him to the science of sound and reproducing it. As a music minor, he was able to take a course in the recording arts and also work with several recording engineers. Since then, he has established a mobile recording studio, Streamin’ Sound, based out of Hasbrouck Heights in Northern New Jersey. Plans are now to begin offering private lessons in piano, songwriting and recording.
